Manali-Snow-Camping

If you’re prepared to withstand the chill, then winter treks have many bountiful rewards. Pristine landscapes, sparkling sunrises, no crowds, and snow. Tons of it! Experience Manali and the Kullu Valley transformed into a winter wonderland, a wholly different location than in the summer months. Winter treks offer different challenges than summer camping. You must be prepared for the more severe weather and shorter daylight hours but by having an extra gear and additional skills, and White Peaks Adventures by your side, you’ve little to worry about and a lot to look forward to.

Adventure Trek Itinerary

Day 01: Reporting, Orientation and exploring Naggar
Report to base camp by 1100 hrs.
After your initial WPA’s orientation and briefing on your upcoming programme, spend the afternoon at your leisure exploring the town.

Overnight at Naggar Nature Base Camp, Manali

Day 02: Manali Sight Seeing
Walking tour of Manali including sightseeing and visiting some of its historic settlements, before reaching base camp in time for sunset and a roaring bonfire amidst the snow.

Day 03: Trekking    
After breakfast set off for our day-long trek. We will cover 13km of pristine mountain trails, savouring a packed lunch and some breathtaking vistas along the way. Return to camp for dinner around another roaring bonfire.

Day 04: Departure  
After morning tea and breakfast amidst the snow, depart for your onward travel.

Though we call every trekker post booking for packing guidelines as per the current weather,here are some mandates to remember:

Tariff Inclusions

  • Transport required for the tour
  • Skilled local staff who has ample knowledge of the route.
  • Vegetarian meals on the trek (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
  • Cooks/Helper and other requisite staff.
  • Porters/mules for carrying common equipments (like rations/tents/utensils/)
  • Equipment – Tents on sharing basis / Sleeping bags / Sleeping Mats
  • Basic First aid Kit.
  • Forest Permits and camping charges.

Tariff Excludes

  • GST 5%
  • Personal Porters for carrying trekker’s backpacks
  • Personal trekking equipment – like trekking poles or sleeping bag liners
  • Personal insurance or cost of emergency evacuation
  • Purchases of personal natures (like mineral water bottles/bottled or canned beverages/chocolates/dry fruits etc)
  • Food to/from the trailhead.
