Jalori-Pass-Cycling-Tour

"A White Peaks Adventure exclusive". Jalori Pass biking expedition, situated at an altitude of 10,700 feet offers a thrilling mountain biking trail. Jalori Pass is an easy to moderate level trail which is suitable for both beginners to passionate cyclists. This seven-day itinerary is crafted well to get a thrilling experience for high altitude biking and experiencing the local sights and culture at the same time. With frequent ups and downs and sights of Beas river Jalori Pass can be an excellent choice to experience an easy mountain biking tour. Adventure Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Reporting at Banala Base Camp,Aut
Orientation and general information about the expedition, Bike Rules and Safety Tips etc. Senior
instructor will do the briefing and talks about rigours of the expedition and the safety measures that each one of us should keep in mind throughout this expedition. In the evening we will go for a short test ride fully loaded with all the gears provided.

Day 2: Banala to Fagu Pul
As we start the first day of our biking tour we leave Banala soon after breakfast and start our journey with an easy downhill following a gradual slope. As we ride along the Beas river, its sonorous waters will provide the thrill needed to motivate us during our travels, until we arrive at Fagu Pul. We call it a day with a shout uphill at the end which will also give an idea what’s coming tomorrow.

Pedalling distance: 17km

Overnight in Guest House, Fagu Pul


Day 3: Fagu Pul to Banjar and on to Jibhi
After breakfast we start our ride with a short uphill climb to reach Banjar market. We will spend a short time exploring the market and then move ahead towards Jibhi. We will be crossing through few small villages taking a glimpse of Himachal typical village.

Overnight in Guest House, Jibhi

Day 4: Jibhi to Sojha
Get ready to experience some real mountain biking today, a relatively short distance of 7 km to be covered today to reach Sojha at an altitude of 8850 feet, a challenging uphill ride. just keep your bike  straight and follow the leader. The magnificent views from the top are waiting to reward you for this thrilling ride.

Day 5: Ride to Jalori - trek to Serolsar Lake - ride back to Sojha
Today we are going to pedal to our destination of tour: Jalori Pass. The bad condition of the roads and the steep ascent from 8800 feet to nearly 10,300 feet makes it impossible to cycle. We ride for 2 km before hopping off our bikes and continuing on foot, a 3km trek to Jalori Pass. The massive Shivalik range will begin to unfold in front of you providing jaw dropping views.

Pedalling hours : 4 hrs +2 hrs trekking
Pedalling distance: 3km+3 km trekking


Overnight in Hotel, Guest House, Sojha

Day 6: Return Ride from Sojha to Banala Base Camp
Time to pedal happy! The downhill journey will be more thrilling and will capture you right from the
start. But beware: you’ll need to keep your hands firmly on breaks until Banala Base camp.
