Mountain Cycling Expedition!
Mountain biking in the winter season is a great activity for the adventure loving people. In winter heavy snow falls and the whole region is packed with white blanket. Sometimes roads are blocked also. But the roads are often cleared by the local authorities like PWD. So the byclyling can be done easily in the lower parts of the valley. In the winter there is not much hustle and bustle on the roads. So one can bike around and explore on his bike with ease. For that one has to approach to the snow camp in Naggar, which is near to the snow range and is also connected to the main highway. From the base camp one can take the bycycle and go to the recommended tracks with proper gear and information. It is good to trek on bycycle because you can see the surrounding more perfectly than travelling by a vehicle. Cycling in the snow covered mountain routes is absolutly a lifetime experience. Cycling in the winter gives you warmth from cold and filters your lungs without any sweat or hard work. Mountain biking is good sport which makes your health better with the fun of riding bike in the Himalayas. During the mountain biking expedition the camp will be held near snow line or in between the snow. So one can enjoy snow even in the base camp. To enjoy precisely the person should have proper winter gear (warm jackets,lowers, glubs etc.) as well as the mountain biking gear. The gear should be properly brought because of the safety of the person. All and all one should come and enjoy the winter in the lap of Himalaya.

Day 1 : Reporting at Naggar Nature Base Camp, Manali( 6200 ft).
Reporting – Acclimatization – Orientation & Briefing of the trek – Trek Preparation & Window shopping
Naggar is an ancient village just before 18 KM of Manali, Delhi-Manali bus can drop you near Naggar. Relax at our Nature camp this day and get acclimatise to the high altitude. This day you will prepare for your trek by few acclimatisation walks. Sufficient time would be given for visiting market and nearby places
Day2: Base Camp to Chansari. (8000ft; 7 – 8hrs)Approx 28 kms
Day3: Base camp to Naggar and back to B.c. (5,500ft ; 7-8 hrs)Approx 32 kms
Day 4 : Departs from Naggar
After Breakfast we will explore the Naggar and surroundings. By 12:00 PM we will check out from our hotel and start our journey back to our home with undying memories.

Distance by road:
Delhi - Manali - Delhi tickets can be booked by Himalayan Adventure Trips at subsidised rates.
Manali is well connected to Delhi. Take an overnight bus from Delhi and you will reach Manali in 12 - 14 hours(approx 540 KMS). Tickets can be booked by Himalayan Adventure Trips (contact us).Since Delhi Manali is a long journey most Volvo private buses leave Delhi between 5 pm and 6 pm. The last govt bus leaves at 8.30 pm from ISBT Kashmere Gate. Volvo buses charges between Rs.1,000 to 1,400 per sector from Delhi to Manali and vice versa as per the seoson. Manali to Delhi: Like the onward journey, buses leave from Manali to Delhi between 4 and 5 p.m. Your tentative arrival at Delhi may be anywhere between 6 a.m and 10 a.m. Plan your onward journeys only post noon giving enough buffer for bus delay
Nearest Railway Station:
Nearest Railway station is Ambala (350 kms) and Chandigarh (310 kms). Tip: Regular Volvo and Buses are available from Chandigarh to Manali in the evening. Volvo buses charges between Rs.700 to Rs.1,000 per sector from Chandigarh to Manali and vice versa.
Nearest Airport is Bhuntar is 60 Kms. Bhuntar, which is 52 km away from Manali, is the nearest airport. Taxi services are available from Bhuntar to Manali, which costs about Rs.700 - Rs.1,000. Bhuntar is well connected to Delhi by air. The airliners that take you to this Airport are Indian Airlines, Kingfisher airlines, MDLR Airlines and Jagson Airlines, operating flights from Delhi and Chandigarh to Kullu.
