Black-Peak-6387m

Mt. Black Peak Climbing (6387 m)

Black Peak, otherwise known as Kalanag Peak, stands tall at an elevation of 6387 meters.  Dominating the entire Bandarpunch massif, it is proudly known as the highest peak of its siblings. Resembling a Black Cobra, it is referred to as ‘Kalanag’ in the local language. Black Peak is a moderate level technical peak where only the summit part is technical and often chosen by moderate to professional climbers for an adventurous record. It’s one to cross off the bucket list! Along the journey, you will cross tree lines and glaciers. The summit has a gradient of around 70 degrees, an enormous, demanding ice wall of an approximately 75 feet. Being the highest the peak this itinerary will demand true grit and reward you with magnificent views of the entire Bandarpunch family.
