Friendship-Peak

Friendship Peak Expedition (5289m.)

At over 17,200 feet Friendship Peak is an impressive sight to behold. One of the three main “Trekking Peaks of India”, it is popular amongst beginner trekkers looking to challenge themselves, owing to the fact that it requires no technical knowledge. Though you will need bundles of grit and determination (as well a certain level of fitness)! Your reward? Breathtaking views of Himachal Pradesh’s Dhauladhar and Pir Punjal Ranges. Other sights include the high altitude peaks of Mt Hanuman Tibba, Mt Deo Tibba, Mt Shitidahr, and Mt Indrasan. On our course, we will also pass the Beas Kund, a magical glacial lake, in itself a popular trekking destination. Easily accessible for the uninitiated, Friendship Peak is the perfect entry into the world of mountaineering.
