Adventure Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Reporting Shimla. (1800m)
Reporting – Acclimatization – Orientation & Briefing of the trek – Trek Preparation & window shopping
(Sufficient time would be given for visiting market and nearby places)
Day 02:  Shimla - Jnaglikh (bia taxi.) (2200m: 7300ft.) Via Taxi. (9 hrs) (approx. 120 kms.)
Day 03: Janglikh Village – Kukrishagar Jungle Camp (3580m/11800 ft; 5 to 6 hrs) Approx 8-9 kms
Day 04: Kukrishagar Jungle Camp – Chandernahan lake base camp (3750m/12300ft; 5 – 6hrs)Approx 10– 11 kms
Day 05: Chandernahan lake base camp – Chandernahan lake – Litham Thach (4450m; 9 – 10hrs)Approx 15-16 kms
Day 06: Litham Thach – Janglikh – Rohru. (4000m/9000 ft; 3 – 4 hrs)Approx 6-7 kms
Day 07: Rohru to Shimla. Via texi.

How To Reach

By Bus
 Himachal Road Transport Corporation buses as well as private operators runs several buses connecting Shimla to the major cities in North India. Chandigarh is at a distance of 117 kilometres, Manali at 260 kilometres and Delhi at 343 kilometres. If you are going from Delhi, you can take an overnight air conditioned luxury bus from ISBT Kashmiri Gate. Buses go in the morning or later at night - timings can vary from season to season, you can check them online before making a reservation.

By Train
Kalka is the nearest major railway stationn, which is connected to Chandigarh and Delhi by regular trains. You can take the Kalka Shatabdi, which goes from New Delhi Railway Station to Kalka Railway Station via Chandigarh.
There is a small railway station in Shimla is just 1 kilometre away from the centre of the town and is connected to Kalka by a narrow gauge rail track. The famous toy train of Shimla goes between Kalka and Shimla, covering a distance of 96 kilometres in about 7 hours crossing through 100+ tunnels

By Air
Jubarhati is the nearest airport which is about 23 kilometres from the town. There are regular flights going from Jubbarhatti to Chandigarh and Delhi. You can easily get a taxi from the airport to get to Shimla or you can ask your hotel to arrange for an airport transfer.
