One of Himachal Pradesh’s best-kept secrets, Prashar Lake is a holy lake situated at an altitude of 8900 ft. and is a most rewarding trek which can be enjoyed almost throughout the year. If you are looking for an offbeat destination with less exertion, then Prashar Lake might just be for you. An easy, but picturesque trail across dense pine tree forests and villages. Surrounded by white peaks, the place offers a mesmerizing 180-degree view of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges.
Prashak Lake is the perfect trek for first-timers. The trail is uphills and passes through the dense forests and villages.

Day 01: Mandi – Baggi – Prashar lake
We start with a small ride of 2 hours to Baggi Village from where the trek starts. The total trek length is 9 KM and it will take 4-5 hours to reach Prashar Lake. The path is through dense trees and covered with thick layer of snow in winters. After reaching delicious snacks will be served with hot tea, followed by dinner.
Night stay at Prashar lake Campsite.
Day 02: Prashar Lake – Mandi
Wake up early and witness pre-sunrise, and spend the rest of your day amongst nature. After breakfast, we will start our journey back to Mandi via Baggi.
