What kind of meals will be provided during the trek?
Nutritious, vegetarian food will be provided during all our adventures. Lunch will be packed and dinner will be freshly cooked
An Ideal meal plan on WPA Treks:
          6-6.30 AM Early Morning tea
          7.30 AM Breakfast
          1 PM Lunch (Packed)
          4.30 to 5 PM Evening Refreshments – Tea, Snacks
          6 PM Soup
          7 PM Dinner
          8 PM Hot Drinks – Bournvita or Coffee
**Jain Food cooked without Onion/Garlic is arranged on prior request.
On all our Road Trips we follow MAP meal plan.
What kind of water will be provided on the trek?
We consider mountain water flowing through streams completely safe, however we arrange local drinking water in case there is no running water available.
What are the temperature during the night ?
While night temperature depends upon the destination you have chosen, single and double layered well insulated sleeping bags are provided by White Peaks Adventures applicable for the particular altitude.
Do we need to carry our trek equipment?
White Peaks Adventure is backed by a team of local staff members who take care of all the trek equipments, however we urge every trekker to carry their own backpack. We also arrange porters on special request only for the needy ones.
Who will take care of the permit required for the trek?
White Peaks Adventures takes care of the IMF permits, Forest Department permit and other applicable permits well in advance of the programme.
Is enough time for acclimatization planned in the Itinerary?
White Peaks Adventures skilled team carefully design the Itinerary taking care of all the technical aspects, NONE of our itinerary is planned without sufficient time spent for acclimatization as applicable.
Is transport cost included in the Itinerary?
Transportation to and fro the trek are usually included in the cost, however please go through the Inclusions section of your chosen package.
Can we customize the package as per our needs?
Fix departure programmes are designed as per the standards of that destination, however you are free to discuss any customization in the itineraries.
Do you provide Toilet pit tents?
Hygienic Toilet pits are setup at campsites wherever applicable.
Are meals included during our stay in Hotel ?
All meals during trek and while staying at our Nature Camp are included in the cost. If your chosen destination includes are a day staying in Hotels , we urge you to try some local cuisines at your leisure
Are Trek shoes mandatory on the treks?
Out of various technical aspects, a good grip,firm ankle support and waterproofness are major qualities of a trekking boot. A trekking boot makes the trek safe and more comfortable but are not mandatory for easy and moderate graded treks. Feel free to call us for any advice and reviews before buying a trekking boot. Trekkers can carry a good grip sport shoes for easy treks with White Peaks Adventures.
I have done many treks, i know I am fit, do I still need to bring Medical Certificate ?
Medical Certificates are mandatory for every trek and climbing expeditions. Medical Certificates should be dated within one months before commencing the trek. Camping and Road Trips doesn;t require a medical certificate unless specifically mention in the Itinerary.
How many people stay in one Tent?
Tents are to be shared by 3-4 trekkers, at some destinations we have fix arctic tents having capacity to accommodate 8-10 trekkers.
Can we expect rains during the trek?
Sudden showers are no surprise in mountains, always carry a light rain coat or waterproof windcheater or a poncho.
What kind of documents I need to carry?
3 types of documents are mandatory for all most all adventures
          Valid Govt Photo Id Proof
          Medical Certificate
          WPA application form
Can you arrange for bath during the Trek ?
White Peaks Adventure do not have any provisions for bathing during the trek and the base camps.Itineraries where we arrange stays in Hotel do have bathings facilities.
Can you arrange for bath during the Trek ?
There are only some area where we walk along the villages you might get some signals, otherwise do not expect any kind of mobile signals and plan accordingly. BSNL works in most of the regions of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Please note that your prepaid Sim Card will not be functional in Leh due to security reasons as governed by Indian Army
Are Drinking and Smoking permitted during the Trek?
White Peaks Adventures strictly prohibits smoking and drinking for all the programmes. We do this for two main reasons first to take care of your health and another to keep the environment clean.High Altitude drinking can severely affect our health during the trek.
