Adventure Road Trip Itinerary 

Day 1: Report at Manali
On reaching Manali, check-in to the hotel and relax till afternoon.This day is important for acclimatization and healthy journey ahead. Briefing of the tour and documentation will happen this day.
Day 2: Manali – Sarchu
Early morning pick up from Manali before we head for Sarchu, driving across Rohtang Pass (13050 ft), passing through Keylong, Jispa and Darcha along the way, before crossing the Baralacha Pass (16020 ft) to arrive at Sarchu in the evening.

Day 3: Sarchu - Leh

After early breakfast leave for Leh, en-route crossing Nakeela and Lachulung-la Pass (16,617 ft.). Break for lunch at Pang and then drive on towards Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (a vast plateau stretching for 42 km) and then crossing Taglang-La (17,585ft) and driving through the upper Indus Valley. Reaching Leh by the evening.

Day 4: Leh 

The morning is at leisure for rest after the long journey. Spend it at your leisure, visit the town and its surrounds. After lunch visit Shanti Stupa,  and Leh Palace, hall of fame.

Day 5: Leh - Pangong Lake

Today will be a long drive and an early departure, but worth the wait! We will be visiting Pangong Lake (150 km drive), located on the Indo-Chinese border), crossing the Chang-la pass (17370 ft). After a full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at the fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 km to Tangtse.

Day 6: Pangong Lake -Hemis -Thiksey- Leh

After breakfast, bid your final farewell to Pangong and retrace the picture perfect route back to Leh, across Chang-la. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, the biggest monastery in Ladakh, though somehow completely concealed from the main road. Later drive on to Leh, en route visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery.

Day 7: Leh - Khardoongla - Nubra

After breakfast we leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and Sam staling Gompa.

Day 9: Nubra - Khardoongla - Leh

In the morning explore Deskit, Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari on the double-humped Bactrian camel found here. Back in the car, say goodbye to this mountainous desert, and return to Leh.

Day 10: Departure from Leh 

After a leisurely breakfast, drive to the airport in time in time to board flight for onward destination.
